Eagle Experiences

Experience the freedom of the Lakeland Fells as you fly Britain's eagles including the largest the White-tailed Sea Eagle, and the most iconic, the Golden Eagle.

Your morning is spent on the Fells where after a short, but steep fell walk, you can experience our Golden Eagle Ben, as he soars with the mountain backdrop. On a nice windy day Ben will wait on, circling above our heads at around 500 - 1000 ft. When called, he twists, folds his wings like a falcon and 6' 2" of completely focused Golden Eagle stoops vertically down towards you, landing so gently on to your gloved hand, you can barely feel his arrival. Simply breath-taking! Then Following a quality lunch (included), pick up the glove again and fly owl Verreaux's Eagel Owl, 'Ebony' and our European Eagle Owl, 'Crumble'

Sapphira our White-tailed Sea Eagle will fly dramatically for you with the backdrop of the Irish Sea. The youngest member of the team, Sapphira was hatched in April 2010, and she has an impressive 8ft wingspan.

The Lake District has historically been the home of wild Golden Eagles. Sadly Eagle Days are now the only way you are guaranteed to see a Golden Eagle within the Lakes. And the best way of becoming immersed in the true wilderness of our beautiful and rugged National Park.

Conserving Golden Eagles and White-tailed Sea Eagles in the wild is vitally important to bio-diversity and our natural heritage in this country. Predator Experience is committed to conservation of these iconic British species.

Eagle Experiences are a full day event from 10.30 am until 3.30 pm. Available all year round.
