USEFUL INFORMATION

Experiences

We believe that high animal welfare and the quality of your experience is everything!!  With that in mind we always work in small group sizes, unless everyone is one party or corporate group.  The group size is small so that you have the attention of our staff, and lots of time interacting with our team. Because of this though, we do book quite far in advance, as experiences fill quickly. Particularly weekends.  You will find weekdays are usually about one month in advance and weekends, bank holidays and peak seasons can be to to three months in advance.

Welfare

Predator Experience is a fully licensed zoo with South Lakeland District Council. Although we are not the kind of zoo you imagine, we operate a high standard of care and and are happy to be governed by the strict regulations of welfare and inspection. We believe in psychological welfare being as important as physical welfare and enrichment is a large part of our programme of health.

Conservation

We promote education and conservation of animals in the natural world. Lots of injured and rescue wildlife find their way here for rehabilitation and release, they are always welcome. Predator Experience is registered with the Hedgehog Preservation Society as carers and we support the work they do also, it’s a great organisation.

We also work hand in hand with Lancashire Badger Group, and Cumbria Wildlife. Predator Experience also donates to worldwide organisations which protect wolves and endangered birds of prey around the world.
